GrapeVine Social User Agreement

Welcome to GrapeVine Social! Please read this User Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before using our mobile application ("App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the App

• Eligibility: You must be at least 17 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
• License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Restrictions: You agree not to:
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Post, share, or distribute content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited, including references to religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, nationality, or other groups intended to harm or humiliate.
  • Include realistic depictions or encouragement of violence, abuse, or harm to people or animals, or target specific races, cultures, governments, or entities with violence.
  • Encourage illegal or reckless use of weapons or facilitate the sale of firearms or ammunition.
  • Share explicit sexual material, including pornographic content or content that promotes activities such as prostitution or exploitation.
  • Include inflammatory religious commentary or misrepresent religious texts.
  • Provide false or misleading content, including inaccurate information, trick/joke features, or enable anonymous/prank communications.
  • Exploit or capitalize on current events, such as violent conflicts, terrorism, or epidemics, for profit or harmful purposes.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Harass, harm, or impersonate other users.
  • Distribute viruses, malware, or other malicious code.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy, including data collection, storage, and use as outlined therein.

5. Intellectual Property

All features and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Praesidium Inc. and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation, availability, or functionality of the App, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Praesidium Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach this Agreement.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Agreement within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Data Deletion Policy

If you delete your account, all associated data and content will be permanently removed from our system. We do not retain any data for historical or backup purposes after account deletion.
